Fooling Around Before School!

It's Friday and the first whole week of school has gone by!  Liam really likes his teacher, class, and Second Grade.  He unfortunately missed one day this week because he got sick (something he ate)! The one thing bad about the first week--"I miss my little sister."  - Liam age 7

The Class List

Yesterday, Liam could not contain himself.  With every passing minute excitement and anticipation grew.  It was the day he was going to find out which teacher he was going to have for Second Grade. 

He heard such good things about Mrs. Thomas and he wanted her badly! 

The time had come and he got Mrs. Thomas--Hooray! 

It brought back memories of my own excitement of those days the "list" came out! 



Smiles

Today was our biannual dental check up and cleaning!  No cavities--Hooray!  Clare will soon join us-she has five teeth now--chomp, chomp!  We were all smiling after the visit for one reason or another (we were off to the Oakmont bakery to get our favorite sweets-gobs, scones, cookies and cake!

School Daze

Pencils, notebook, pencil case, folders, bookbag, and clothes!  Today was Liam's day.  He was really excited about all of his new stuff.  He seems really eager to get started with 2nd Grade!  Clare didn't mind cruisin' in her "caddy" from store to store either (She is a woman--what woman doesn't like to shop!).



A World That Revolves Around Them

This is the first of many entries I will write.  Many things are important to me, but my kids are at the top of my list.  Many entries will be about Liam and Clare because I live HAPPILY in a world that revolves around them.
